Have you ever noticed how arrows lazily loft in the air, as if they're made of cardboard? Since in real life I hunt with a bow that looks fairly similar to the design of Oblivion's bows, I immediately picked up on this anomaly. So this mod fixes that by speeding up the arrows. It speeds up the arrows about 3x the original value, to what I felt was a realistic speed. This mod applies to everybody in game, so you and your enemies will have this speed adjustment.
This mod does not change the damage of arrows at all, but if you find that you're making a pincushion out of your enemies, and it takes forever to kill them, try Increased Bow Damage by Slyster, to remedy that. It works very well with this mod.
Of course, it's impossible to capture this mod in action with a screenshot, so I made a demo video, which you can download here. It's only 26MB, it won't take long to download. I tried uploading it to YouTube where you can instantly watch it, but it compressed the video so much that the quality was so reduced you could not even see the arrow.
1- Place the .esp file into your Data folder. (C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data)
2- When launching the game, select data files and double click Realistic Arrow Flight.
 Version History
- Initial Release
This mod is fully compatible with practically all mods unless they change the arrow speed, which very few mods have. OOO changes arrow speed, but if you load this mod after, it will priority over OOO, so my changes take effect.
