Using an all new texture and as much detail as I thought I could manage, I think it's finished. As you can see it's only version 1.5. Guess what that means! It means I'm going to attempt to make it even more realistic by adding in heat shaders where ever there is lava. I might even go as far as make the lava pop and boil, but heat shaders is top priority for me at the moment.

Well, I've been using this mod for a long time. It was probably one of the first mods I downloaded. As you can see from the screenshot, the original lava looked more like red water than molten rock. With the new textures, it looks much more realistic. I was looking forward to the upgrades with lava popping and boiling, and heat shaders, but it looks like Seniorfrito has either stopped working or is taking a long time. Regardless, this is still a useful mod. I recommend this mod for people who care about graphics and/or realism. It is a nice improvement for both.

Review Update - September 16th: I have recently switched to Real Lava. Read my review there for information about the differences between the two mods. Both are still recommended.
