[edit] Description: Current as of V0.9

This mod adds more purchasable improvements for all the homes in Cyrodil!

Dont worry about your inventory, or already purchased furniture... it should still be there! Everything should look like it used to BUT; if you buy something that is placed on top of any of your item(s), they may disappear or go flying(remember Havok?) Dont worry, just keep a save, just in case ;)Also, remember to report anything unusual, like missing stuff, bugs, things that seem weird (in the thread link above.)

[edit] Important

Please do not download V0.6 or less of this mod. They appear to be heavily bugged with merchants not working, walls missing and quests messed up. Currently Dubert is working on ironing out bugs (of which there are plenty) for a V1.0 release. Unfortunately Dubert has not been around for quite a while.

[edit] Full List of Improvements: Current as of V0.9

[edit] Imperial City House

  • Garden

Adds a nice little garden with assorted flowers outside your house.

  • Library

Adds a crooked bookshelf with cheap sets of books

  • Storage Area Two

Adds 2 extra chests inside your house

  • Basement Extension

Adds one empty basement room under your shack. Access through the door on the back of your house. Takes 3 days to complete, and will let you get further improvements at Three Brothers Trade goods!

  • Basement Bar

(Requires Basement) Adds a low Class bar with 3 chairs in your basement!

  • Basement Decorations

(Requires Basement) Adds assorted wallhangings and a rug in your basement, makes it look cozier

  • Basement Lighting

(Requires Basement) Adds some hanging lights to your basement. Goes nicely with the bar

  • Basement Storage

(Requires Basement) Adds 4 Crates and a Barrel to your basement for further storage space

[edit] Bravil

  • Bedroom Set

Spruces up the bedroom a bit, making it look less "blank"

  • Storage Area Two

More crates and chests for your storing pleasure

  • Dinner Table

Gets you two more tables and five chairs, arranged to become a long table in the livingroom. I always thought the living room was so huge.. with this tiny table in the center...

  • House Decorations

Adds a few more tapestries and a bear-rug, plus a small shabby table to put things on. A nice extra touch to the house.

  • Backyard Garden

Takes one day to build. When finished, it adds a nice backyard garden with various plants and a bench for your relaxing pleasure.

[edit] Benirus Manor (Anvil)

  • Stonewall Repair

Repairs and builds a complete stonewall fence around the garden behind the manor. Enables purchase of the garden

  • Training Set-Bow

Sets up a hay-target, a bowrack and two barrels (marked "arrows", and "targets") in your garden. You can store things safely in the barrels. One barrel comes with a few arrows, and the other barrel comes with a few differently sized objects you can use for practicing your shooting. Can you hit the coin from a long distance..? ;D

  • Garden

This garden requires somewhat more work than the one in Bravil, or Imperial City. It takes 5 days to complete, and you can see the progress from day to day! Check back every day to see the garden a bit more complete ;)

  • Storage Area

The usual storage area, adds some containers, and a desk with a chair in the bedroom

  • House Decorations

Spices up the blankest of walls with tapestries and rugs. Fills out the blankest parts of the house.

  • Chandelier

Adds a chandelier above the sitting area (to the left, right after you enter the manor). Always thought of it as a perfect place for a chandelier :D

[edit] Leyawiin Home

  • Garden

Once again, adds a garden outside the front of your home.

  • External Ivy Decoration

Covers up that ugly wall with some green fresh ivy!

  • Outside Light

Adds two torches on the front of your home, makes it easier to spot your door when going home from those late night tavern-rounds :P

  • House Basement

Builds a basement under your house. Takes five days to complete, and a door can be found inside the house, near the dinner-table when completed. Enables Basement Improvements.

  • Basement Storage

(Requires Basement) Adds some crates and chests in your basement for storing purposes.

  • Basement Alchemy Set

(Requires Basement) Sets up some tables, a shelf, and three ingredient crates for alchemy purposes. There are three crates because they are meant for sorting ingredients.

  • Basement Lights

(Requires Basement) Get this first!! Or you'll have to fumble through darkness. Yes, your basement is a dark one. Or just bring a torch ;)

  • Basement Wall Hangings

(Requires Basement) Adds tapestries on your basement walls, making it look less blank!

  • Basement Display Set

(Requires Basement) Finally! Something for the collectors of fine items! This adds several display tables to your basement! Display till you drop with this fine improvement!

[edit] Bruma Home

  • Extra Lighting

That Bruma Cottage sure is dark. This improvement does something about it :)

  • Display Cases

After buying this, you will find some display tables around the house. Show off your goodies!

  • More Storage

This one is always good, can never get enough storage!

  • Outside Lighting

Bruma also received this small but neat feature. Adds a little bit of warmth out in the cold nights.

[edit] Cheydinal Home

  • Further Decorations

Adds additional tapestries in the house

  • Extra Lighting

Adds a few extra lights around the house, brightens up a few of the darker corners

  • Expensive Dinner Set

Replaces your original dinner set; if you got the original that is. It adds higher quality chairs, and a nicer table-light.

  • Expensive Kitchen Set

Replaces your original kitchen set with higher quality cupboards and a higher quality table.

  • House Basement

Takes seven days to complete, builds a rather large basement under your house. Entrance next to the fireplace. Unlocks the Basement Improvements.

  • Basement Lighting

(Requires Basement) Again, get this first. I dont like the idea of light without a light-source.. ;)

  • Basement Study

Adds a high quality desk, and two bookcases for libraryatory purposes. Sit in total privacy when reading.

  • Basement Display

(Requires Basement) Adds six huge basement display tables to your basement! Great for displaying!

  • Basement Training

(Requires Basement) Adds a few training mats, a target for arrows and a punching bag.

  • Basement Decorations

(Requires Basement) Adds a lot of tapestries and a few mats. Makes the basement shiny and glorious!

  • Basement Storage

(Requires Basement) I guess you know what this is ;) Yep, you got it. Adds chests and crates for your storing pleasure. Four chests and seven crates in total, huge ones, so store away!

[edit] WIP Improvements

  • Servants

Currently a servant will only be at Chorrol and the Skingrad servant may be improved.

  • Done:
    • Initial testing
    • Initial planning
  • To do:
    • Complete testing before adding anything to the mod.
    • Make decent servant AI
    • Implement descent way to aquire servant
  • Won't do:
    • Implement a way to choose between several servant races / gender (left out for simplicity of modding)
  • Things I will try to make the servant do:
    • Redecorate wallhangings (change colors on tapestries)
    • Make food/drink

    • Nothing yet
  • Write a Readme
    • Nothing yet

  • Attempt to make this mod compatible with All In One Basement 5.0
    • Done. NOTE: This mod was already mostly compatible with House improvements v1.0 due to brilliant placing of trapdoors! But there are some minor issues including: my Cheydinhal basement door and TomWithTheWeathers trapdoor are inside each other; it doesnt look awful just looks a bit....combined; both TomWithTheWeather and I have moved one chest inside the IC shack. Might be a conflict there, but shouldnt really matter, as long as you load AllInOneBasement last.

[edit] Ideas not Implemented: in this Version

  • Teleport ring between all owned houses!
    • Abandoned
  • More purchasable homes
    • This sounds more like a second mod
  • Upgrade to bigger/better houses
    • Maybe in a V2.0
  • House Upkeep Cost
    • Easily added by any other modder, for those that want it
  • Working Shack Bar
    • Maybe in a v2.0
