[edit] Description

CrazyBump creates displacement, normal, occlusion, and specmaps based on 2D images. It's fast, sports a nice and clean interface, and makes an excellent tool to quickly take your textures to the next level. A free demo is available.

[edit] Hardware Requirements

  • CPU: At least a Pentium III (will take advantage of multi-core)
  • Video: At least a DirectX 9 (pixel shader 2) capable video card.
  • Memory: At least 512 MB RAM for smaller images and 1.5 GB for larger images.

  • Operating System: Windows 2000/XP/XP-64/Vista/Vista-64
  • Video Card: Latest drivers for your card.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework - This comes packaged with CrazyBump but if you are using XP-64, you will need to install .NET Framework 2 from Microsoft's web site.
  • Microsoft DirectX - This comes packaged with CrazyBump.
