This mod replaces the vanilla map icons into something colorful. The map icons go great with any colored map mod. They are Border less and are colored like the way you would expect.

Adny's Map Icons v0.01
A re-working and coloring of the normal Oblivion map
icons. I use a colored world map and so I wanted some
colorful POI icons that didn't look gaudy and were easy
to make out... In the end I decided to just take the
normal icons, tweak them and color them in. Some of
them are much more changed than others, of course.
I like 'em; my wife likes 'em... maybe you'll like 'em too... so here they are ;)
Installation
Unzip into your Oblivion\Data folder; the icon textures
should go to the right places. If you get a warning
about overwriting files then you already have some
custom map icons installed and should maybe say "no to
all" and then back them up before continuing ;)
See the uninstall section for a list of the files
involved.
Uninstall:
Remove the files:
Textures\Menus\Icons\Map\map_icons_all.dds
Textures\Menus50\Icons\Map\map_icons_all.dds
Textures\Menus80\Icons\Map\map_icons_all.dds

This Mod Does wonders to any colored map. I was shocked at the difference it made when I added it with colored world map. Although the LandMark icon is a simple arrow the other ones are amazing.
Verdict: 9.8
